From the valley to the summit of the Buchensteinwand you won't starve, that's for sure. But your palate can look forward to excellent Tyrolean delicacies, which are freshly prepared for you in the restaurants Das Bergblick, Das Weitblick, Hoametzl and Warmingerhof. In addition to the sense of taste, your sense of sight is also triggered, feasting on the unique panorama.
Appetite for the mountains
Rarely, expections are so well-fulfilled as with our two restaurants: Das Weitblick at the top station of Bergbahn Buchensteinwand/Pillersee serves you traditional delicacies in addition to a great mountain view – and therefore does not only open up new horizons in terms of taste.
Our self-service restaurant "Bergblick-Alm" at the bottom of the Buchensteinwand not only offers a unique view of the Jakobskreuz - traditional Tyrolean cuisine is also here on the menu.
A restaurant at the peak of inspiration
On the summit of the Buchensteinwand, the most beautiful panoramic mountain in the Pillerseetal, sun worshipers and gourmets will find their perfect destination in summer and winter. The restaurant "Das Weitblick" convinces with Tyrolean and traditional delicacies and attaches importance to locality and freshness - served with genuine hospitality. A self-service drink machine is also available to busy athletes outside of opening hours - don't forget coins. From Wednesday to Sunday, athletes can also strengthen themselves in The Bergblick restaurant. You can enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains of the Loferer and Leoganger Steinberge, the Wilder Kaiser and the Kitzbüheler Alpen from the large sun terrace of the Weitblick restaurant. The Weitblick restaurant is easily accessible either on foot or with the Buchensteinwand four-seater chairlift.
